Mr. Stamatoglou represents a diverse group of clients on commercial litigation matters involving claims related to the False Claims Act, trade secret misappropriation, discrimination and retaliation under Title VII, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and other business disputes. He practices before federal and state courts.

  • Represented residential real estate developer seeking to restore its right to develop property; the case culminated in a trial on the merits and a full victory for the client
  • Successfully prepared numerous discovery motions and managed large-scale e-discovery while representing owners of logistics company accused by former employer of trade secret misappropriation and breach of non-compete agreement  
  • Drafted response to summary judgment motion for plaintiff alleging discrimination and retaliation claims under Title VII, resulting in partial denial of defendant’s motion
  • Represented Title VII plaintiff in mediation before U.S. Magistrate Judge, resulting in resolution of the matter
  • Defended educational institution in False Claims Act matter by managing large-scale e-discovery production and seeking protection of student records from disclosure under federal privacy law
  • Served in various externships and clerkships while attending law school, including as a law clerk in the Antitrust Bureau for the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, and as a judicial extern for Judge Robert W.
