Overview

Mr. Fisher is an associate in the Real Estate Department. He represents real estate owners and developers in the acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of commercial, retail, and multifamily and manufactured housing properties.

  • Assists and advises owners in the acquisition, sale, development and financing of multifamily properties and manufactured housing communities across the United States
  • Assists with the acquisition, sale, development and financing of shopping centers and single-tenant retail buildings
  • Assists private lenders that provide secured financing for various kinds of real estate projects
  • Represents construction contractors in construction contract negotiations and other agreements related to market-rate and affordable housing projects, as well as office and other commercial designs

Experience

  • Represented, with a real estate team, one of the largest owners of manufactured home communities in the United States in a joint venture that acquired a 16-property manufactured home community portfolio located in four states, where the transaction included CMBS loan assumptions totaling approximately $16 million and the purchase price exceeded $300 million
  • Advised retail landlord client in the acquisition, development and leasing of a 20,000 square-foot single-tenant retail building with a long-term lease
  • Represented a self-storage facility owner in the acquisition of a six-property self-storage facility portfolio located throughout Minnesota for $41.5 million
  • Represented a market-rate multifamily apartment project owner in the sale of a four-property apartment project portfolio for $30 million
  • Represented a multifamily apartment project owner in a joint venture transaction related to a six-property apartment project portfolio, where the transaction included $6 million of additional equity and a $62 million commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) refinancing
