Ms. Kidd is a paralegal who currently holds an Individual Real Estate Broker license in the State of Michigan and has more than 17 years of real estate industry experience. She concentrates her legal support in a variety of real estate matters with a primary focus on commercial transactions.

  • Facilitates assorted stages of real estate acquisitions, sale or leasing transactions, including administration of due diligence timelines and documents, creating closing spreadsheets and checklists, preparing closing documents and organizing closing materials for dissemination to attorneys, clients and title companies
  • Assists with the review of title insurance commitments and policies, including supporting documentation, as well as coordinating with title insurance companies to address potential title concerns
  • Aids with preparing various documents, including, but not limited to, organizational documents, amendments, deeds, contracts, agreements, estoppels, resolutions, affidavits and transfer documents
  • Orders and gathers property reports, including environmental reports, surveys and survey analysis and appraisals
  • Assists with the organization and review of lender required documents
  • Reviews a variety of local, county and/or state requirements pertaining to the acquisition, sale or assignment of real estate and prepares correlating documents as needed, interacts with numerous outside entities such as governmental agencies and officials, courts, corporations, companies and other law firms
