Doug Siegel is an intellectual property attorney with extensive experience representing clients in the preparation and prosecution of patents and providing related opinions. He has particular experience dealing with cell and molecular biology patents.
- Focuses on life science industry technologies, including diagnostic immunoassays, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays, microarrays, small molecule drugs, biopharmaceuticals, transcription devices, transgenic mice, cell lines, crystallized proteins, medical therapies, and medical systems
- Prepares joint-development agreements, licenses, and other intellectual property related contracts
- Litigates claims related to patents, trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, and trade secrets in state and federal courts and administrative tribunals
